What is Apache Server?

How to run Apache server on Kali Linux?

Apache Server does not have to be a difficult step to run on your PC. Previously, in order to run Apache Server, you had to download a new Apache Web Server and install it separately. But now Kali Linux no longer has that problem, now Apache web server is installed in built-in with Kali Linux. You just have to turn it on. You will get this facility in all the ink Linux versions from 2016 onwards. So let's see how to run this Apache web server on Kali Linux PC.

First open your terminal. Then press this command like the following command.

service apache2 start

Now open your browser to see if your server is open and type 127.0.0.1 in the address bar.

If your Apache server is not turned on, then the page will appear in the same way, then you try again, or press this command as below. This is the command to restart the Apache web server.

service apache2 restart

If you want to turn off your Apache server, press this command below.

If you use these commands correctly, you can turn on or off the Apache server effortlessly.
