Find your own IP address!
So if you say, finding your own IP address there must first mean public IP, which you can call your Internet IPO. On the home network, only your router has a public IP address, while the rest of the connected devices are connected to the router's private IP. However, finding any public IP address is much easier. There are many websites on the Internet that help you find your public IP address. Just open the sites mentioned in the list below, you will see your public IP address as soon as you open the page. The easiest way is to go to Google and search by typing "What is my ip"!
But yes, if you are using a VPN, these websites will not be able to display your real internet IP, but the VPN server IP. If you use any proxy server, that IP will be displayed. Now the question is how to find the local IP or private IP?
You see, in all modern versions of Windows, the "ipconfig" utility is already included in the command prompt. Just open your Windows CMD. To open CMD, hold down the Windows key and press "R", this will open the run. Now go to the empty cell of the run and type “cmd” and press enter from the keyboard, the diameter command prompt will open. Now enter the command, "ipconfig", you will see all the IP addresses and network hardware will show the details. If you have connected to the Internet using WiFi, of course your local IP will be shown from the “Wireless LAN adapter Wi-Fi” selection. And if you use Ethernet, then "Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection." Your local IP will be displayed in the section. The local IP view can be anything from 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.255.
Change IP address
Public IP reveals the identity of your local network and your computer or any device in front of the Internet. If the public IP is changed, your location, country is hidden. You can change the public IP address using a VPN or virtual private network client. No VPN client software needs to be installed on your system that will create a tunnel between your computer and the VPN server. Any Internet request will then become a VPN server without your ISP going through the computer and this transmission is completely encrypted, so your ISP will never be able to tell you what you are doing on the Internet or what website you are visiting. Since you are connected to a VPN server and using the Internet, and that server is located in another country, your public IP address will also be virtually changed to another country.
There are many VPN service providers who offer free and paid services. If you want to test you can try free VPN, but for permanent use, of course I will ask you to take paid service. It is necessary to get service from a VPN provider who does not save the log. However, it is possible to trace VPNO.
It is possible to hide entire computer or entire network traffic using VPN. If you only need to unblock a specific two websites, you can use a web proxy. If you go to Google and just type "web proxy" and search, you will find many websites from which you can visit other sites, so your IP address will not reach the visited web server . IP can also be hidden using a manual proxy, but in this case the real IP is leaked, so the best method is to use a VPN. Many ISPs use dynamic IP addresses, meaning your IP will change as soon as you disconnect and connect to the Internet. Mobile operators in particular use dynamic IP.

IP addresses from email sendarera Bay to be
If you use Gmail, open the mail whose header you want to check. Now click on the “Down Arrow Key” next to this icon at the top right
, a menu will open, click on “ Show original” from the menu , the mail header will open as below. But Google removes the sender's IP address from the Gmail header, only the Google server IP is added, in which case it is impossible to find the IP address.
Microsoft sends an extended header to the Hotmail service called "X-Originating-IP" to find the sender's real IP, in the Yahoo Mail header IP addresses to be .
IP location
However, even if the exact location of the user is not available, this information can be obtained from any user country or connected to an ISP. However, the exact idea of the city is not available, IP Geo location tools can only detect the ISP's server location, now if the ISP is much larger, it is difficult to determine which city the user is. If you use Grameenphone Mobile Internet from Rajshahi, your IP location will show Dhaka. From the iplocation.net site you can get the information of any IP address ISP or any company registered in the name!
127.0.0.1 Local Host
It can also be called a loopback IP address. Suppose you have made your own computer a web server, in this case you can load the pages in the browser using the local host IP address. When the 127.0.0.1 IP address is entered into the browser, the browser will search the page on your computer without finding the page in the network. Because this is the home address! If a local host request is made from your computer, it will be limited to the computer, and the request will never go to the local area network or the Internet.
DHCP
When a device is turned on and requests to connect to the router, it is called a DHCPDISCOVER request. In this case the device requests a new IP address from the router to connect. After the Discover Request Packet reaches the DHCP server, the server generates an IP address that can be connected using the device. After receiving the IP from the server, the device sends the DHCPREQUEST packet again to work on the network. If the server sees that the IP address is correct and the connection can be provided, a yes-based response.
These requests are processed very quickly, so the user does not need to understand anything about them later. DHCP uses dynamic IP style, so no two devices of the same IP will ever be created on the same local network, and it is completely automatic.
Find MAC address
There are many important reasons why you may need to know the device MAC address. Suppose if you filter the MAC address on the network, then only certain devices can be connected to the router, there is no benefit in knowing the password, the router will not allow other devices. Moreover, you can find out about the device manufacturer from the MAC address.
For now, if a device cannot be physically accessible, it will not be possible to get its MAC address. IP address and MAC address are two different things. However, if your computer is connected to the same local network, then you can get the MAC address of the local network device. You need to open the command prompt and give the command “ping 192.168.45.15” Here you have to enter the IP of the device you want to see on Mac. If the device receives a ping, you will see the following response.
Now enter the “arp -a” command in the same command session, you will see the MAC address of the pinged device. The response will be received as below!
However, using this method, it will not be possible to view the device Mac through the Internet, only it will work on the local network. This MAC address actually shows up from the cache and you see it using the address resolution protocol. I will discuss MAC addresses in more detail in the next episode, the way I am covering the IP address in this episode!
IP address forward and reverse lookup
There are many internet services that support both IP lookup and reverse lookup. Data is taken from the DNS server for IP lookup, there is also a database for reverse lookup. Of course, every domain name needs a forward lookup to connect to that web server. But if you want to know how many websites there are in that IP address, then you have to check the reverse IP lookup. You can check how many more websites are hosted on that server IP using this online reverse lookup tool.
In this episode, along with the basic things, I have also taught you many advanced terms. There may be another episode about IP addresses, where I will discuss different ranges of IPs in detail, but for now I am not publishing such a post to bore you! In the next episode, I will definitely go to the more technical side. Don't worry, I'll give you everything I know. So stay tuned, and the next episode is coming soon. Be sure to comment below on any question, if you want to multiply, please comment first !! But don't forget to let us know what the third episode looked like!
